You can send files securely in Filot using Hubs.

Key Takeaways

  • Click Send to the left of the search bar to send a file or folder using Hubs
  • Click Hubs to view Hubs that you are a member of
  • All fileds shared in Hubs are end-to-end encrypted with AES-256 encryption

Using Hubs, you can send files securely to anyone using app.filot.io and the Filot desktop app. Hubs are helpful if you need to regularly send files to the same group of people.

There is no attachment size limit for files or folders sent using Hubs, other than your organization’s total storage package. (i.e. if your organization has 300GB of storage, you cannot send a 310GB file).

You can also compress your file to reduce its size, and then send it using Filot. We recommend downloading the Filot desktop app on your computer.

Why use Filot to send files?

Easy to implement, easy to use

Filot guides you through the onboarding process from start to finish. You can download and begin using Filot in five minutes or less, without ever needing to speak to a sales representative. Filot’s interface has been designed from the ground-up to be easy for everyone to use, regardless of technical experience.

Automatic end-to-end encryption

End-to-end encryption is the only method that keeps a file unreadable to everyone but the sender and recipient, including the platform hosting the transfer. Filot comes with end-to-end encryption built in, protecting all of your files the moment you upload them. Learn more about end-to-end encryption.
